'All clear above and behind'
All glider pilots will be familiar with the term 'all clear above and behind'. A safety check carried out by the ground handlers prior to take off to make sure the glider about to be winched into the air isn't going to end up in the flight path of a landing aircraft! This cartoon is a parody of this vital pre-flight check! This cartoon is part of a series of black and white cartoons that I completed while I was learning to fly.
