'Catapult Failure'

A catapult failure on board HMS Eagle somewhere in the Atlantic. This is something that can cause real problems if there are aircraft in the air waiting to be recovered. This cartoon illustrates the mind set of the Royal Navy - There is always a solution to every problem!

This cartoon was exhibited at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition held at the Mall Galleries, London, in July 2005.
