'Novel anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defence'

Innovation during wartime is a necessity, this cartoon shows a little known innovative solution for providing both anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defences to merchant vessels at the height of the Battle of the Atlantic.

This cartoon was exhibited, and sold, at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition held at the Mall Galleries, London, in July 2012.
