'Nimrod Replacement'

As usual the British military procurement machine, as well oiled as ever, made a complete mess of procuring a new maritime reconnaissance aircraft to replace the Nimrod. This cartoon is a parody on this episode illustrating the unique way the British innovate to overcome such procurement ineptitude.

This cartoon was exhibited at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual Exhibition held at the Mall Galleries, London, in July 2013.
