The Client

Nuumed are a specialist company that have been designing and manufacturing numnahs for the equestrian market for more than 17 years. They design and manufacture all products at their factory in Somerset, England, and as such are able to deliver a first class personal service to all of their customers.

The Challenge

In support of their main product range Nuumed also supply a range of humorous cards with an equestrian theme. The artist who provided these cards was retiring and a replacement range of cards was needed with a common style that would integrate with their overall brand. I was recommended to Nuumed as a potential source for these cards.

The Solution

A meeting was set up to discuss Nuumeds requirements and a list of potential topics for the cards and some basic ideas on card styles agreed.

This list of topics was then used to generate several preliminary sketches. These sketches were emailed to Nuumed and the top six chosen to take forward. Each of the down selected sketches were then developed further with Nuumed reviewing each updated draft image.

The Result

I delivered an entire turn key solution for Nuumed, from initial consultation and image design through graphical layout to liaising with printers and delivering cards and envelopes in the required quantities. Nuumed now have six new card designs, all in a common style, as originally requested and are delighted with the results.
